Big news on next week’s episode of Kocktails with Khloé! The television host gives us the scoop on why she and NBA player James Harden decided to break it off earlier this month.
Kardashian started dating the 6’5” Houston Rockets shooting guard last year. From work out dates to holiday parties, it seemed like smooth sailing for the couple.
No stranger to the struggles of being in a high-profile relationship, Khloé was realistic when it came to her expectations. With a new book and a new TV show, she understood how crazy schedules prevent even the most enamored couples from getting serious.
“I’ve always said, ‘There’s a lot going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in L.A. Like, let’s just see each other when we see each other.’”
It turns out James, on the other hand, wanted a more defined role in Khloé’s life and pushed for the two to be in a monogamous relationship.
“He sought me out. He wanted to be committed,” Khloé said. “I was like ‘Great, this guy’s in it for the long haul. Let’s do it.’”
But, Khloé and James ended up breaking it off several weeks ago for reasons left unknown.
Until now.
In the Wednesday, March 2 episode of Kocktails with Khloé, Khloé reveals that James had not stayed true to his promise of monogamy. She gives no insight into who, what or how long, just that she has “the receipts to prove it.”
Setting her boundaries and being strong is what makes Khloé who she is. Perhaps cleansing her life of this drama was what she was referencing in her Feb. 20 post on Instagram?
